چکیده
In the article, using authentic Lithuanian material, celebration of St Martin’s Day in Lithuania Minor is analysed from a chronological point view (from first mention to present day), order show general stages development festival, and modern changes customs. The paper analyses feast late 19th 20th century, showing structural functional calendar feast. It also aims analyse customs festival (since 2002), discuss prospects for continuity ethnic tradition today’s festival.
